Commentary
A 38 cm cone type woofer developed for large monitor speakers.
It is used in major studio monitors such as the 4355.
The 2235H adopts the same basic design as the 2234H and realizes low distortion rate and high input resistant characteristics.
The main difference is the addition of a mass control ring to the vibration system, which lowers fo and increases the rigidity of the base of the vibration system and expands the low-end regenerative capability. This change supports the monitoring of the lowest sound range such as digital recording.
A unique SFG magnetic circuit, cone with high compliance edge, long voice coil with 19 mm winding width, reinforced suspension, etc. are adopted to realize low distortion rate and high input resistant characteristics.
