A 2-way floor speaker system with a virtual coaxial layout.

The unit layout uses a symmetrical array (virtual co-axial) layout, with a horn driver in the center and a woofer positioned symmetrically above and below the horn driver. As a result, although the unit is a 2-way configuration, it realizes sound aggregation like a full-range unit and excellent sound image localization.
In addition, the front of the woofer is equipped with a unique duckbill-style sub RUNNET that controls the spatial impedance of the horn opening. At the same time, the built-in urethane pad prevents diffuse reflection of sound on the upper and lower surfaces of the horn.

Two 25 cm cone type woofers are installed in the low range, and a good piston motion with ample cone amplitude is ensured even in the case of Dainyu force.
JBL traditional pulp cone with corrugation rib is used for the diaphragm. In addition, aluminum die-cast frame is used for the frame.

A horn type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The driver unit is equipped with a driver unit 175Nd-1 using a 4.4 cm pure titanium diaphragm.
The diaphragm of this unit is molded as thin as possible to improve the response in the high-frequency range, and JBL's unique Aqua Plus coating controls the resonance in the high-frequency range to achieve high-frequency playback compatible with DVD Audio and SACD.
In addition, a neodymium magnet is used for the magnetic circuit.
A biradial horn with constant directivity of 110 ° horizontal x 40 ° vertical is used for the horn section, and MDF material is used for this horn.

Only the woofer part is designed to prevent magnetic flux leakage.

The network section uses a separate network with separate boards for the low and high frequency ranges to prevent mutual interference and realizes low loss by directly connecting the main network elements.

The enclosure front baffle uses high-mass MDF material with a thickness of 47 mm to reduce unwanted vibration.
The exterior features a Cherry natural wood veneer finish and the front baffle features a dark-grey semi-gloss lacquer finish to match the low-light theater environment.

The input terminal uses a gold-plated binding post type for the low and high frequency ranges respectively, enabling bi-wiring connection and passive bi-amplifier drive.

It comes with spikes for stable speaker installation.
Both ends of the spike are finished with sharp needle tip and spherical ball tip, so it can be used depending on the floor surface.
Spike receiving plate is also included.
