Commentary
This speaker system uses the acoustic design theory of the Project K2 Series and the latest technology in the JBL traditional 2-way floor system by driver / horn and woofer.
ME150HS which is a 38 cm cone type woofer is mounted in the low range.
This unit uses a large 4-inch (100 mm) voice coil and a forced cooling system that reduces the heat generated by the voice coil.
A horn type unit combining the driver unit 2426H and the newly developed horn H2600 is mounted in the high range.
The Horn H2600 is a Differentiated directivity Horn that greatly expands the service area. It is capable of obtaining accurate stereo images without shifting sound localization even when listening to the sound from the position inside the left and right speakers.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
In addition, a unique wedge shape design is adopted for the shape to suppress the generation of internal standing wave.
