Commentary
This speaker system was developed by refining the design philosophy of the L series, which gained worldwide popularity in the 1980 s, and introducing the latest technology.
A 20 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
By combining a large diameter edgewise wound voice coil that achieves both high efficiency and high input resistance with a magnetic circuit that pursues improved linearity and reduced distortion, we have achieved excellent low-frequency playback.
13 cm cone type mid-range using polypropylene cone is mounted in the mid-range.
A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter using a pure titanium diaphragm is mounted in the high range.
By using the short horn type, the directional characteristics are optimally controlled and the diffraction of sound, which leads to the deterioration of the sense of orientation, is suppressed.
In addition to the use of high-sound parts in the network section, smoother frequency characteristics have been obtained by optimizing impedance and phase characteristics.
The enclosure uses a sandwiched MDF baffle to reduce unwanted resonance and eliminate the adverse effect of box rumbling on playback sound.
In addition, by placing the bass reflex port on the back, the muddy sound is suppressed.
Equipped with two pairs of gold plated terminals for bi-wiring and a gold plated bus bar.
