Commentary

A compact speaker system incorporating new JBL technology.

A 13 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit uses a diaphragm laminated with a pulp base made from JBL's proprietary high-polymer composite material. The cone paper is made lighter, more rigid, and has moderate internal loss. The voice coil uses a long voice coil.
The magnetic circuit is provided with anti-magnetic measures by a cancel magnet and a shield cover.

A super-heat-resistant polymer film is used for the high frequency band, and by integrating the diaphragm with the voice coil, the sense of distortion caused by resonance is attenuated.
The magnetic circuit is equipped with a cancel magnet and is designed to prevent magnetic fields.

The enclosure is made of polypropylene with special foam material to ensure adequate internal loss while thoroughly suppressing resonance.

A wide range of settings is possible with one touch mounting brackets, wall / ceiling brackets, desk brackets, etc.
Also, by using a dedicated adapter, it can be set in combination with a desk stand or a commercial camera stand.

The Control1 comes in four colors : black, silver, medium gray, and white.
