Commentary
A subwoofer system that can be added to an existing system to increase the bass playback capability.
The unit is equipped with 46 cm cone type woofer 2245H.
This unit uses cone paper with optimum mass and high rigidity by applying Aqua Plus treatment, SFG magnetic circuit, long voice coil, etc. to reduce distortion when outputting large and small quantities.
The enclosure is designed to have an effective internal volume of 227 liters. It is also made of hard particle board, and the interior is heavily reinforced and tuned.
The exterior has a walnut finish. In addition, there are four variations of ordered items : black, oak, ebony, and rosewood.
There was the channel divider BX63, which was developed separately and sold separately.
In the BX63, only the low frequency component is passed through and the LR signal is synthesized and used as the driving signal for the B460. In addition, the BX63 is equipped with positive-phase and negative-phase output terminals so that it can be driven as a high-power mono amplifier by bridging a normal stereo power amplifier.
From around 1985, BX63A, which is an improved version of BX63, was sold.
