Commentary
As a successor to the 4312, this speaker system has been enhanced by the introduction of technology aimed at the digital age.
The low range is equipped with 2213H which is a 30 cm cone type woofer.
It uses SFG magnetic circuits that boast low distortion, and JBL's original coating reinforcing agent is applied to the cone paper to obtain a low-pitched sound with effective damping.
The frame is made of aluminum die-cast to reduce vibration of the magnetic circuit.
104H-3 of 13 cm cone type unit is mounted in the middle area.
This unit is an improved version of the one that has been used in JBL monitors. It has a new voice coil and a coating on cone paper to obtain smooth response and wide directivity.
A 035 ti dome type tweeter is installed in the high-frequency range.
Pure titanium material, which is light, rigid and durable, is molded into a 25 micron thick dome. Diamond edge patterns inspired by Japanese origami work and reinforcing ribs are combined to obtain an excellent response.
The enclosure has a bass-reflex structure.
As for the finish, there were 2 finish 4312A and black finish 4312 abk.
