JBL 4302
¥ 55,000 (1 unit, released in 2001)
Commentary
This 2-way speaker system was developed by inheriting the concept of the 4301, which was widely used as a compact studio monitor, starting with the sound check in the broadcast relay car.
In the lower range, it is equipped with a 20 cm cone type woofer that uses uncolored and unbleached white corn that makes use of the texture of natural pulp.
A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
A pure titanium diaphragm is used for the diaphragm of this unit. The hardness of the diaphragm is increased by high-temperature quenching with nitrogen gas. In combination with a shorthorn type fine spray, the high-frequency reproduction capability and directional characteristics are improved.
It has an anti-magnetic design and can be used in AV theater rooms.
Equipped with a continuously variable level attenuator, the output sound pressure level in the high frequency range can be adjusted according to the room environment and the playback source.
The enclosure uses MDF, JBL Studio Monitor's traditional blue baffle with a high-gloss clear coat walnut natural wood veneer finish.
