Commentary
Professional series monaural power amplifier.
The input terminal is a standard 50k Ω unbalanced type, but it can be changed to a 15k Ω bridge or 600 Ω matching balanced input by installing an accessory 5195.
The output transformer is equipped with 70.7 v, 8 Ω and 16 Ω connection taps.
For studio applications with wider frequency characteristics and lower distortion rate characteristics, a bypass circuit is installed in the output transformer for use with a 4 Ω direct output.
It is equipped with a protection circuit to protect the amplifier from all kinds of troubles such as short circuit of output terminal, load mismatch, inductive load at low frequency, excessive input, white noise, overheat, installation mistake, etc.
Equipped with a 250 Hz low-cut filter, it can be switched ON/OFF from the rear panel.
The front panel has a light gray matte baked enamel finish.
Can be installed in 5 EIA standard rack space.
