Commentary
This speaker system is a minor change model of the Monitor HL.
A 22.5 cm cone type woofer is used for the low range.
The corn material has been changed from polypropylene to TPX corn.
A 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter of Sonoh DACS HD-12 and D25-8 type is used for the high range.
The unit configuration is a two way, two speaker system based on the results of BBC research.
The network uses auto TRANSFORMERS with laminated cores and solid ディエレクレット capacitors.
The enclosure is made of birch plywood. Two types of sound absorbing materials with different sound absorption coefficients are pasted on the inner wall to suppress resonance, and the enclosure has a natural sound.
Also, the outer surface has a calm cheek finish.
The best listening position is set, and it is generally assumed to listen at a distance of 1m from the wall and 25 cm or more from the floor.
There is a special stand sold separately to suit this.
The special stand is finished with solid wood of good quality natural teak.
