Commentary
Horn-type tweeter unit with SG-17PS base and diaphragm changed to titanium dome and Mylar (FRP) edge.
The horn section consists of a circular aluminum bar hollowed out into a hyperbolic curve and is integrated with the driver. This horn provides a complete horn load horn load on the diaphragm and evenly applies the air impedance to all frequencies.
Type A has a modified horn with a cutoff frequency of 2.5 kHz.
The voice coil uses an edgewise wound voice coil made of aluminum ribbon wire.
Permendur is used for the magnetic circuit.
