Commentary
A 16 cm cone type woofer with a high rigidity round frame.
It uses a newly designed round frame. In addition, FW168 has 8 stops.
In addition to using cone paper made of well-studied material, the entire vibration system has been carefully examined in detail to enhance the stability of performance.
A large magnet is used for the magnetic circuit, and a copper cap is attached to the pole piece to reduce current distortion. This reduces the distortion factor and suppresses the increase in high-frequency impedance characteristics.
Input resistance is improved by using super heat-resistant voice coil.
The standard enclosure is a bass-reflex type, but it can also be used with a bass-reflex type that is slightly larger than the standard internal volume or a small sealed type.
In consideration of compatibility with the conventional FW series woofer, the mounting hole size and standard have been designed match as much as possible.
For the tweeter to be combined, wide-band dome tweeters such as FT27D, FT38D, FT55D and FT57D are suitable.
