Planar tweeter unit using RP system.

The RP method is a type of electroacoustic conversion method using a planar coil diaphragm. RP is an abbreviation of Regular Phase. It is a full-surface drive method in which the entire surface of the diaphragm moves in the same phase.
The basic structure is such that an extremely thin high-density planar coil diaphragm is held by a special support system between a pair of magnetic circuits with the same poles facing each other, so that the entire diaphragm is driven uniformly. Since the mass of the vibration system is small and it is driven uniformly, the sound quality combines condenser type sound quality, electrokinetic type strength, and wide dynamic range.

The advantages of the RP system include the ability to obtain high-pitched sound with flat characteristics and good elongation, extremely low distortion, good transient characteristics, good directional characteristics, high high-frequency reproduction limit, flat impedance characteristics, excellent input resistance, thin and lightweight units, and a wide range of applications, such as microphones and headphones, as well as skokers and tweeters.
