FE103
Commentary

This is a 10 cm cone type full range unit from the FE series that makes use of the tradition of Fostex.
It has been sold for a very long time.

Roll edge and heat-resistant and efficient voice coil are used to realize low distortion even at full power.

Until around 70's, there were 2 kinds of variations of 16 Ω and 8 Ω, but after that, only 8 Ω was produced continuously.

When it was released, FE 103 ∑ was also available as an enhanced magnetic circuit type of FE 103.

* It seems that the specification of FE-103 has been changed several times during the sales period.
The FE 103 from the beginning to the early 70's was designed with the bolt exposed from the back of the magnet. After that, the magnet part and the label were changed, and after that, it was changed to Fostex label.
The earliest catalogs had different recommended enclosure designs.
