DAL-3.1s
Commentary

This speaker system uses a unique structure called the Decoupled Anti-resonant Line.

A 12.7 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit uses a unique Neoflex resin for its diaphragm and is driven by a magnetic circuit consisting of a 25 mm dual voice coil with Nomex Former operating in parallel and a 100 mm diameter magnet.

A 2.5 cm inverted dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm uses an inverted dome type titanium diaphragm with a 7 μ - thick coating of TIOXID, a titanium dioxide developed by JM Lab. This improves the allowable input and ensures smooth propagation of surface waves in concentric circles.
There is also a diffuser in the front to compensate for directivity and sound radiation.

The enclosure has a bass-reflex structure that employs a unique methodology called DAL (Decoupled Anti-resonant Line).
The DAL 3.1s employs a 20.6 liter enclosure with a 19 mm thick rigid MDF material, the upper third of which is the cavity behind the woofer. This cavity is followed by a unique folded Super Tuned Bus Load, which is approximately 1.8m long and runs to the port on the lower back of the cabinet. It is tuned to provide a rich, phase-free low-frequency response without the use of sound absorbing materials.
By filling the bottom of the cabinet with sand, low-frequency resonance is suppressed and overall rigidity is increased.

The input terminal is bi-wired.

Cleats are included.
