Chorus 725
Commentary

A tall boy type speaker system which is the top model of the Chorus series.

Two 16.5 cm cone woofers are installed in the lower range, and the same 16.5 cm cone midrange is installed in the middle range.
These units use poly-glass diaphragms, which have been used only in high-end models. The surface of cellulose fiber cone with excellent resolution is coated with hollow fine particles of extremely hard silica glass resin with a special adhesive. The combination of cellulose with high internal loss and light weight and a highly synthetic silica glass layer enables smoother and more accurate sound wave propagation.
Butyl edge is used for the edge part.

A newly designed 2.6 cm inverted dome type tweeter called TPC is installed in the high range.
In this TPC, the voice coil is rigidly fixed to the center of the dome to improve energy propagation while maintaining mechanical coupling between moving parts. In addition, the diaphragm is made of titanium monoblock and is damped with 5 μ m thick polymer. In particular, linearity in the 15 kHz to 22 kHz band is taken into consideration. In addition, a foam ring is installed between the MAG top of the net plate and face plate to eliminate unnecessary vibration.
A phase plug is installed on the front of the unit to make sound wave diffusion uniform.

The unit layout consists of a tweeter between the woofer and the mid-range, and the front baffle is a dark grey finish of highly rigid MDF material combined with a cherry finish cabinet.
The mid-range unit is housed in a separate chamber to eliminate any interaction with the woofer.
