Commentary

Shell-integrated MC cartridge carefully designed for music playback.

A fully air-core coil that does not use a winding frame for the generator coil is incorporated into a 2-magnet 4-pole magnetic circuit.

The cantilever is directly connected to the coil wound with 16 turns for each left and right channel, and the effective mass of the vibrator is reduced by setting the air-core coil at the position where the effective mass is the smallest considering the vibration mode.
The power generation coil is made of pure silver wire, which is 7% more efficient than using copper wires.

The FR-7 uses a push-pull power generation system to improve electrical conversion efficiency and increase output power as well as output voltage.
In addition, push-pull power generation eliminates the canceling voltage improves phase characteristics and crosstalk characteristics.

In order to hold the cartridge unit firmly, the flat surface of the shell body has been reduced as much as possible. In addition, the lead-out wire of the generator coil have been made as short as possible, and thick wires have been soldered to eliminate concerns about shell lead wires.
The cartridge body is mounted on a base made of machined aluminum block.

It was possible to replace FR-7f with an internal unit.
