Commentary
Electro Research's top-of-the-line speaker system that employs a multi-vent tuning system.
This 5-way 11-speaker system is equipped with two 30-cm cone type woofers for the low range, a 20-cm cone type unit for the middle and low range, a 12-cm cone type unit for the middle and high range, two 6-cm cone type tweeters for the high range, and five 3.6 cm cone type super tweeters for the ultra high range.
These units use special coating for cone paper developed Shinkai to realize the sound quality unique to the all-cone type.
The enclosure is designed with multi-vent ports to provide an ideal bass reflex effect by drilling an unspecified number of small holes in one part of the enclosure while measuring characteristics.
The exterior has a walnut wood finish and the front grill uses breathable foam plastic.
