Electro-Voice SENTRY V
¥ 180,000 (1 unit, around late 1970 s)
Commentary
A medium-sized portable monitor speaker system created by creative design and rigorous hearing.
A 25 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The high-frequency range is equipped with a radial-horn type tweeter, which is the same as that used in SENTRY III and SENTRY IVB.
The unit can also be mounted with a 90 degree rotation, provides good directional characteristics when the enclosure is on its side, and has built-in protection circuitry.
Equipped with an attenuator for the high-frequency range.
The enclosure is designed using a new Baslev theory based on computer analysis, which allows the enclosure to be small for low-frequency characteristics while maintaining high efficiency.
