Commentary
A monitor speaker equipped with a CD horn.
A dedicated 10-inch direct radiator woofer is used for the low range.
Based on the A. N. Thiele theory, computer analysis of the relationship between the woofer and the enclosure is carried out, and the optimum vented enclosure is designed. As a result, miniaturization, high efficiency and improvement of low-frequency characteristics are achieved.
A new model of CD horn, a laminated wood detector, is installed in the high frequency range.
In combination with a high-power Super Dome Tweeter with a peak power of 100W, the acoustic power in the horizontal and vertical directions is made uniform in the middle and high frequency band, and characteristics extending to 18 kHz or more are obtained.
Phase interference is suppressed by time alignment between units and phase coherence in the network.
