Commentary

A compact speaker system designed for near-field use and designed for music playback that exceeds the size limit.

The low range is equipped with TT115KST long stroke woofer which is a 11.5 cm cone type woofer.
The diaphragm has a hybrid structure of pulp fiber and 0.2 mm thick aluminum and is driven by a powerful magnetic circuit.
In addition, the front baffle and resin are integrally molded in order to secure mounting strength and eliminate magnetic strain caused by the metal frame.

A JET (Jet Emission Tweeter) tweeter is installed in the high range.
This unit was developed from the Hailu driver invented by Dr. Oscar Hailu. The Hailu driver was popular for its good transients and high speed, but it was not actively adopted because of its low efficiency and the unit responsible for the lower frequencies could not keep up with the speed of the Hailu driver.
At ELAC, the bending wave type pleated diaphragm is manufactured in-house, and a strong neodymium magnet is used in the magnetic circuit to solve the problem.

The network section is equipped with dedicated boards for the tweeter and woofer respectively, and is designed to be useful for bi-wiring connection.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
The enclosure uses a robust extruded aluminum 6.5 mm thick with separate front and rear baffles to eliminate unit interaction and internal dividers to reduce unit interaction and provide strength.
The bass reflex port has a round port to reduce wind noise. A special stand and screw holes for bolting are provided on the bottom.

A speaker terminal for bi-wiring connection and Y-lug mounting is adopted.

There are 2 variations of the exterior, silver and black.
Also comes with a grill.

There was a special speaker stand as an option sold separately.
This stand also has 2 color variations to match the body color.
