Commentary
An FM/AM tuner developed with sound quality, low distortion rate, and unnecessary signal rejection capability as design themes.
The front end section uses a low-noise FET and a 3-row varicon to provide a fully shielded structure.
Two silicon monolithic ICs and one ceramic filter are used in the IF amplifier to improve the selection characteristics and bandwidth by using the ceramic filter to improve the distortion factor and interference rejection capability.
An LC resonance filter is used in the MPX section to suppress harmful signals of 38kHz/19kHz.
Equipped with center 0 meter and tuning indicator.
It has a muting circuit to reduce unpleasant inter-station noise.
It is equipped with an AFC device to suppress deviation of the tuning frequency due to changes in temperature and voltage and to enable accurate tuning.
A ferrite bar antenna is built into the AM tuner section.
Equipped with an output level adjuster.
The FM antenna terminal is equipped with two impedance terminals of 300 Ω and 75 Ω.
