Body

The D-M1MD comes in five colors, blue, orange, violet, green and red, and comes with a remote control that matches each color. The four colors other than blue were sold only for 3000 units.

Self-illuminated panel is used for the operation part.

The cassette deck has a full logic auto-reverse design.
In addition, it is equipped with a tape counter convenient for editing and Dolby B Type NR.

Equipped with MD Pick Rec function.
If you turn on the Pick Rec button and set it to Standby, you can record from the beginning to the end of a song with one push of the ENTER button for both CD and FM broadcasting.

Equipped with 5-mode Synchro-Rec function, simultaneous recording from CD to MD or cassette, recording from CD → MD, CD → cassette, MD → cassette, and cassette → MD can be done with one touch.

It is equipped with playback functions such as program performance, random performance and repeat performance of 20 CD and 32 MD songs (1 song / all songs / program for CD, all songs / program for MD).

It is equipped with editing functions such as divide, move, erase and combine, which are unique to MD.
In addition to alphabets, symbols and numbers, you can also enter characters in katakana for disc names and song names.

Spekers

The speaker section of the D-M1MD is a speaker system tuned by local staff in England.

A 14 cm cone type woofer with pearl mica cone is installed in the low range.
A 2 cm soft dome cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.

Anti-magnetic design is applied.

The enclosure uses a bass-reflex method and the exterior is finished with wood grain.
