Commentary

This speaker system was developed by inheriting the technology obtained in the SC-A7.

A 26 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The diaphragm is made of a light and hard polypropylene material. A special material is added to control the internal loss and rigidity. This ensures an appropriate internal loss even in the high frequency range. The rigidity is further enhanced by molding this diaphragm material into a corrugated rib structure.
A powerful magnetic circuit, large flat damper, and aluminum die-cast frame are used to take advantage of the performance of the diaphragm.

The middle area is equipped with a 4.3 cm hard dome type skoker with α -Boron diaphragm.
This diaphragm is made of a material in which boron compound and alumina particles are fused in a porous state on the surface of an aluminum alloy foil. Boron compound and other materials are struck against the aluminum alloy foil at a speed close to the speed of sound in a high temperature of over 10,000 degrees Celsius by the plasma jet welding method to form a layer and physically bond the layers together. As a result, the diaphragm has approximately three times the rigidity of a titanium diaphragm and approximately ten times the internal loss of a conventional metal diaphragm.
In addition, strontium ferrite magnet, double suspension system support system and aluminum die-cast frame are adopted.

A 1.6 cm hard-dome type tweeter using α -Boron diaphragm is mounted in the high range as well as the middle range.

Level control is provided for the middle and high frequencies.

A rigid particle board is used for the enclosure, and it is a bass reflex type with a capacity of 42L.
