Commentary

This speaker system uses a high-M diaphragm developed jointly by DENON and Peerless Co.

A 25 cm cone woofer with a High-M diaphragm is mounted in the low range.
This diaphragm is made by integrally molding a high-polymer material based on polypropylene into a cone shape. We have succeeded in increasing the hardness (rigidity) approximately twice while maintaining the lightness.
The support system consists of a flat damper with greatly improved linearity and an edge formed from a roll of foamed polyurethane coated with a damping agent from the back.
For the voice coil, deflection in the diameter direction is suppressed, and the aluminum bobbin with excellent heat radiation effect is treated with high heat-resistant adhesive to realize high input resistance.

The mid-range is equipped with DENON / Peerless's 10 cm cone type skoker.
The back chamber and frame of this unit are integrated with solid light alloy die-cast to reduce the influence of strong air pressure and vibration from the woofer on the vibration system of the's vibration system.
In addition, the chamber is filled with ring-shaped glass wool to absorb reflected sound, and the chamber inner wall is tapered to prevent the generation of standing waves, thereby preventing the generation of intermodulation distortion.
Non-prescone made of Scandinavian pulp is used for the diaphragm, and aluminum voice coil bobbin and rolled edge made of urethane foam coated with damping agent are used.

A 3.2 cm soft dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.

A large aluminum electrolytic capacitor and a metalized film capacitor are used in combination for the network with an emphasis on transmission characteristics.
In addition, the choke coil inserted in series with the speaker reduces loss due to DC resistance.

A sealed cabinet with an internal volume of 45L is used for the enclosure, and hard particle board is used for the material.
Each unit is fixed using DENON's unique sandwich support system. The frame is firmly fixed from the front and rear surfaces to reduce the vibration of the cabinet.
