Commentary
A compact speaker system developed with the goal of reproducing a sense of scale beyond the size.
A 20 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
An ideal vibration mode over a wide range has been obtained by using special cone paper using the latest papermaking technology, and flat characteristics have been realized up to the high frequency range of 3 to 4 kHz.
In addition, we have achieved high efficiency by reducing the weight of the entire vibration system and by adopting a 25 cm woofer class magnetic circuit, and by inserting an aluminum short ring into the magnetic circuit to suppress harmonic distortion in the middle and low frequency range.
The voice coil uses an aluminum bobbin with excellent heat dissipation characteristics and strain cancellation effect and a coil treated with a highly heat-resistant adhesive that can withstand heat at 200 ℃ to improve input resistance.
The high-frequency band is equipped with a 3.2 cm dome type tweeter, which is the same as the SC 304.
Each unit is mounted using a sandwich support system. The tweeter is supported from both sides of the frame by an aluminum plate and sealing sheet. The woofer is supported by an aluminum die-cast ring and sealing sheet that cover the entire frame. This reduces vibration to the enclosure and reduces intermodulation distortion.
Also, it is finished with pure maple tone.
