Commentary

This MD recorder is equipped with original high-quality digital technology.

It is equipped with ALPHA processing (Adaptive Line Pattern Harmonized Algorithm), DENON's unique analog waveform reproduction technology. This technology uses digital data recorded on MD and CD as a cue to interpolate digital data, making it as close as possible to the analog waveform that should have existed before recording.
This allows us to reproduce the 16-bit format of MDs and CDs with 20-bit quality, and to reproduce the delicate ニャンス and aftertaste lost by digitalization.

Real 20-bit Λ S. L. C. is mounted on the D/A conversion part.
Equipped with two ultra-high-precision 20-bit current addition type DACs as D/A converters, DENON's unique Λ S. L. C. drive, which in principle does not generate 0 cross distortion, thoroughly suppresses distortion and further improves the S/N ratio.
In addition, Λ SLC is integrated into one chip including the ALPHA processor in order to prevent the inflow of unnecessary noise caused by circuit routing.

It is equipped with a sampling rate converter, and supports digital signals from a sampling frequency of 32 kHz for A mode of BS broadcasting and 48 kHz for DAT standard mode and B mode of BS broadcasting.

Equipped with a name input function, you can enter information such as title name, song name and artist name in katakana, alphabet (upper case and lower case), numbers and symbols. You can enter up to 100 characters for each song. Also, the jog dial is used to write data, improving operability.
The entered information is displayed up to 14 characters on the display, and all recorded information can be confirmed by scrolling.

It is equipped with editing functions such as divide, combine, move and erase which are unique to MD.

Timer recording is supported. By combining with commercially available timers, timer performance and timer recording are possible.

25-track program playback, random play playback, and repeat playback of one or all tracks are available.

Equipped with two optical and one coaxial digital input terminals and one optical digital output terminal.

Digital servo is adopted.

By separating the rectifying and smoothing circuits for the digital and analog power supplies, mutual interference between the circuits is suppressed.

Uses parts with an emphasis on sound quality.

Wireless remote control is included.
