DMD-1600AL
Commentary

This MD recorder uses the latest version of ATRAC.

ATRAC is equipped with newly developed ATRAC-IC with built-in 24-bit DSP, and processing the nuances of delicate sounds by calculating digital data with higher precision.
In addition, data input / output to / from peripheral circuits is 20-bit, and combined with block floating arithmetic processing with much higher processing capability than conventional ones, it realizes rich expressive power and fine level signal reproduction.
In addition, by updating the algorithm for optimizing the bit allocation for input data, we have realized the reproducibility of the afterglow, expanded dynamic range, and improved S/N ratio.

ALPHA processors.
This circuit reproduces 16-bit data with 20-bit quality by interpolating 16-bit digital data close to the analog waveform that should have existed in the natural world.

The D/A converter uses Λ S. L. C. (Lambda Super Linear Converter) to eliminate 0 cross distortion in principle.

The A/D converter uses a 64 x oversampling enhanced dual-bit Δ Σ 20-bit A/D converter.

A digital-analog separation circuit structure is used to ensure that the power supply is separated from the other circuits, thereby reducing the influence of interference between the digital and analog circuits on sound quality.

The digital REC volume function allows you to freely adjust the recording level from + 12 dB to ∞ when recording from a digital source.

Equipped with a disk recovery function.
Between A and B The recording time is reduced on a disc that has been edited by repeating lace or erasure. The disc recovery function can arrange part of the TOC (table of contents) data to make it closer to the original recording time.

Equipped with Auto Trek pause function.
By automatically recognizing blank disks and standing by in a rec-pause state, you can record as soon as you insert the disk.

It is equipped with a level-synchronized recording function and automatically starts recording by detecting audio signal input from various sources. The detection level can be set every 6 db from -54dB to -30dB.

It has a program move function.
When moving multiple tracks, it is possible to move multiple tracks at once by programming them in the order in which you want them to be moved, as in the case of program playback.

It is equipped with editing functions such as UNDO, rehearsal, and A-B inter-race.

Equipped with Memory Rec function.
By starting recording up to 6 seconds before, you can prevent the head from being cut off.

Up to 148 minutes of long monaural recording is possible.

It is equipped with various playback functions such as 25-track program playback.

It is equipped with a sampling rate converter and supports a variety of input sources.

Equipped with an external input monitor function, it can also be used as a D/A converter.

In addition to capital letters, small letters, numbers and symbols of the alphabet, katakana characters can be input.

Equipped with input terminals for two optical digital systems, one coaxial digital system, and one analog system.

Very thick power cord is used.

Timer recording is possible using a commercially available timer.
There are 2 color variations.

Wireless remote control is included.
