Commentary
A CD player with advanced technology.
A W super linear converter is used for the D/A converter.
The DCD 800 consists of a Super Linear Converter and a Double Sample-and-Hold system. A D/A converter generally consists of 16 pairs of precise resistors. Slight errors in the resistance value can cause a variable 換歪 and sound quality degradation. Therefore, the Super Linear Converter compensates for the conversion errors by adjusting the external weighting current to completely eliminate the 0 cross distortion. The D/A converter uses a special IC made by Barr Brown of the United States.
In addition, in the double sample-and-hold method, by changing the number of sample-and-hold circuits for the left and right channels, the left signal is matched to the right signal, eliminating the time difference and phase difference between the channels.
Digital Filter A four times oversampling digital filter is used and a linear-phase FIR circuit produces an output of 176.4 of kHz, four times the standard sampling frequency, to move unwanted high-frequency noise to the higher range.
In addition, the analog filter is combined with a Chebyshev type fourth order low-pass filter of LC-OFC wire ring with less loss and distortion to improve excellent cutoff characteristics and phase characteristics.
The pickup section employs a 3-beam optical head and the signal processing section employs a new type of LSI to reduce digital noise interference from the j-valued section to the audio section.
The pickup is fully floating, and the floating structure is reinforced by a special damper structure. In addition, anti-vibration measures are provided by drawing bottom plate, large insulator, 4-point stop top cover, etc.
The amplifier section has a DC amplifier configuration.
There is also a dedicated DC amplifier for the headphone output.
Equipped with two audio output jacks, fixed and variable.
The variable output can be adjusted with the remote control, and the amount of reduction from the maximum volume is displayed in the second part of the display for approximately 2 seconds. When the power is turned on, the value is displayed as -20 and is set to approximately 1/30.
Equipped with an auto space function, the silence between songs can be automatically edited to approximately 4 seconds.

With this function, if you press the Auto Edit key while the disc is in the stop state, the total playing time and number of songs in the first half are displayed for approximately two seconds. Then the second half is displayed in the same manner, and the player pauses at the head of the track 1 song.
When the first half is finished, the sound is automatically paused at the beginning of the second half, and can be used for recording from CD to tape.
It has a de-emphasis circuit and is compatible with pre-emphasis CD.
It is equipped with a display using a large FL tube.
It is equipped with a function to select 20 songs program.
It is equipped with automatic search and manual search which are convenient to find out the beginning of the music being played or before and after the music.
You can repeat all songs or program songs.
The headphone port is equipped with volume.
Timer connection is possible.
Wireless remote control is included.
