A CD player equipped with a multibit Λ S. L. C.

The D/A converter is equipped with DENON's original 20-bit digital filter and Λ S. L. C.
Lambda is an abbreviation of Ladder-form Multiple Bias D/A. In this method, digital data is separated into two systems using a newly developed LSI, and each system is shifted by applying digital bias in plus and minus directions near the 0 cross point to eliminate the 0 cross distortion in principle.
When the playback digital data has a low sound volume that is smaller than the shift amount, no 0 cross distortion occurs because there is no value crossing the original 0 cross point. When the two shifted data are added after D/A conversion, the DC component is removed and the stiffness is increased, and an analog output without 0 cross distortion is obtained. These two data have no MSB inversion, and even if there is bit distortion (error), the distortion is reduced to 1/2 by averaging the two signals.
If the level of the reproduced digital data is larger than the shift amount, it will cross the original 0 cross point, and distortion may occur. In this case, the distortion is removed by the MSB correction of S. L. C. In addition, when there is no or only a few peak levels in a song (about 99.6% or more of the maximum level), the lambda stops the shift operation and uses the converter's dynamic range to ensure a wide dynamic range.
In addition, the multi-bit system reduces distortion caused by requantization.

The digital filter uses a new type of digital filter with improved emphasis calculation accuracy.
This allows for more accurate playback and control of up to 12 levels of output level to prevent degradation of sound quality at the output level.

In addition to the coupling section, high-quality sound parts are used for the D/A converter, power supply decoupling, power supply smoothing section, and power supply sections for digital and servo systems.

The mechanism section is equipped with a newly developed double-action floating mechanism and pickup mechanism.
This mechanism uses damping damping material in the lower part of the pickup and important parts of the chassis to further improve vibration resistance.

Equipped with coaxial digital output terminal.

Equipped with auto-edit function.
With this function, you can divide the music into the first half and the second half at the beginning of the music number closest to 1/2 of the total playing time of the disc, so that you can use the recording tape without waste.

Equipped with functions such as direct selection, automatic search, manual search, program of up to 20 songs, program call, repeat function between all songs / program / A and B, pause standby, timer play, auto space, etc.

Equipped with an OFF switch that can turn off the display.

Wireless remote control is included.
