Commentary
CD player with W Super Linear Converter.
The DCD 700 and DCD 500 have the same basic design, and the DCD 700 has a wireless remote control and headphone volume.
The D/A converter uses a super-linear converter and a double sample-and-hold type W super-linear converter.
The Super Linear Converter uses a correction circuit to add a correction signal to the D/A converter to reduce the D/A conversion error and eliminate 0 cross distortion. The Double Sample-and-Hold method aligns the left signal with the right signal to eliminate the time difference between the left and right channels and realizes playback with no phase difference.
The filter circuit is equipped with a 9th order analog filter.
The power supply section uses three independent power sources. By separating digital, servo and audio systems, high-quality current is supplied to each section and interference between each unit is eliminated.
We use IC and LSI parts as much as possible to reduce power consumption and improve reliability.
It is equipped with a de-emphasis circuit and supports pre-emphasized CDs.
The pickup mechanism is mounted on the sub-chassis and is fully floating to eliminate the influence of vibration.
The top cover, which is susceptible to external vibration, is fixed at four points from the top to reduce the effect of vibration.
With a simple display, you can see the total number of songs on the disc and the total playing time.
While playing, the track No and the elapsed time of the song are displayed. If you press the time mode key, the remaining time of all songs (disc) in the order of track is displayed. If you use the Call key, you can also check the program such as which song you have selected and which song you have selected.
It has a program function of up to 15 songs.
Equipped with a repeat function for all songs on the disc or all songs in the program.
Timer connection is possible.
Wireless remote control is included.
This remote control allows one touch direct music selection by track keys.
