Commentary

A CD player with an ALPHA processor.

It is equipped with an ALPHA processor which is a unique analog waveform reproduction technology.
The ALPHA processor uses digital data recorded on CDs and other media as a cue to interpolate the digital data so that the sound is closer to the analog waveform that was supposed to be present at a concert or recording scene, and reproduces 16-bit data with 20-bit quality.

The D/A converter has a 2 dac configuration with Λ S. L. C. (Lambda Super Linear Converter) installed independently on the left and right sides. Moreover, by combining a 20-bit 8 x oversampling digital filter, distortion is suppressed and high S/N ratio is achieved.
In addition, the ALPHA processor is integrated into a single chip to reduce circuit routing and unnecessary noise, and the latest IC technology is used to speed up the circuit to improve both operational stability and data transmission accuracy.

Newly developed components are used for the loader and base chassis of the pickup drive mechanism to completely eliminate vibration that affects sound quality.

The servo circuit is equipped with a digital servo.
In the conventional analog method, only relative control can be performed based on the reference disk. In the digital servo method, the optimum servo amount can be set according to each disk by detecting the condition of each disk.

Equipped with a D. P. C. (Digital Pitch Commander) function to adjust the playback speed.
With this function, the pitch of CD playback can be changed by + / - 12% in increments of 0.1% using a digital PLL, controlled by a remote control.

It is equipped with a time edit function that allows you to specify the tape time in advance, a peak search function that finds the peak level, and a digital fader function that allows you to fade in and out at specified points.

Equipped with a display dimmer function, the brightness of the display can be finely controlled in 4 levels.

In addition to two analog outputs (fixed and variable), two digital outputs (coaxial and optical) are mounted.

It is equipped with functions such as a 10-key selection function, track & manual search, program / direct selection function, index search, repeat function one song / all songs / program, auto space, auto edit, random play, etc.

Wireless remote control is included.

The DCD 1515 al has 2 variations, the black model DCD 1515 al and the gold model DCD 1515 alg with side wood.
