Commentary
CD player with W super linear converter system.
It is equipped with a super linear converter developed by Denon. This method reduces D/A conversion errors by adding a correction signal obtained by the conversion error detection and correction circuit in the converter to the analog signal, eliminating the 0 cross distortion characteristic of CD player. The DCD 1500 has two of these circuits.
In addition, the DCD 1500 uses a double D/A converter system that uses independent digital filter circuits on the left and right sides before D/A conversion. This makes the time difference even and greatly improves the separation.
The digital filter uses a 2x-oversampling FIR-type 121 order digital filter that has high-frequency ripple characteristics of ± 0.001 dB or less.
In addition, it is equipped with an independently developed Computer Analyzed Linear Phase analog filter with almost perfectly flat group delay characteristics up to approximately 30 kHz to improve high-frequency characteristics.
The newly developed engineering plastic BMC (Bulk Mode Compound) containing glass fiber is used as the pickup base. In addition, the cabinet base is fully floated with a special structure containing Q-dump to cope with external vibration. The vibration of the CD itself is firmly supported by the magnet clamper.
The pickup unit uses a three beam system with stable tracking detection capability.
A newly developed IC with extremely fast response speed is used for the focus tracking servo circuit.
The digital, servo, audio, and display sections of the power supply are supplied with current from independent power sources, eliminating interference between each circuit section.
A DC amplifier configuration with a servo circuit is used for the amplifier circuit.
It is equipped with functions such as program selection of up to 20 songs, 10-key direct selection, index search, repeat of all songs / program / A-B, quick selection, and skip monitor.
Equipped with timer playback function.
Equipped with variable output.
Subcode terminal is mounted.
Wireless remote control is included.
