Commentary

A CD player with a super linear converter and digital output.

The D/A converter employs a super linear converter. In addition to using ICs manufactured by Bar Brown of the United States, Denon's unique conversion distortion correction circuit is added to eliminate 0 cross distortion.
Also, by adopting a double D/A converter system, the slight time difference between the left and right channels is eliminated.

The digital filter uses a 4 x oversampling digital filter.
The use of an LC-OFC analog filter reduces deterioration in sound quality.

The pickup uses a three beam tracking error reporting four season optical head, and digital signal processing uses a new type of LSI with superior error correction capability.
In addition, interference from the digital portion to the audio portion is improved.

Four independent power supply circuits are used for the power supply section, and the digital section, pickup servo, audio section L / R, and display are independently supplied to prevent sound quality degradation due to mutual noise and voltage changes.

The cabinet is equipped with anti-vibration measures. The top plate is double-structured, and the top cover is fixed to the main chassis at four points from the top to prevent resonance. The chassis is equipped with a cross beam that absorbs the vibration of the transformer. In addition, an anti-vibration weight bottom with a balance weight placed on 1.6 mm steel plate is adopted in consideration of the weight balance of the entire chassis.

Sintered alloy with excellent vibration absorption effect is used for the insulator.

The disc holder uses a new material with high finish accuracy and high rigidity and no resonance to enhance the vibration isolation effect.
In addition, resonance countermeasures such as floating the mechanical unit double with low-repulsion rubber and spring are taken.

It is equipped with 2 types of digital output which are coaxial with optical output.

8 cm CD is supported.

There are two analog outputs, fixed and variable.
The variable output is also used for the headphone volume, and it uses an electric volume that can be adjusted with a remote control.

Equipped with auto-edit function.
With this function, if you press the key while the disc is in the stop state, the total playing time and number of songs in the first half of the total playing time divided by almost half will be displayed for about 2 seconds, and the remaining second half will be displayed in the same way. Then, at the head of the track 1 song, you will be in the pause state.
In this state, the sound is automatically paused at about 1/2 of the total playing time, so it can be used for tape recording.

The display features a 16-item intelligent display that displays the total number and duration of songs regardless of disc or program when the CD stops, the track, index and elapsed time of songs while playing, the time mode key displays the time remaining during playing and the total time remaining on the disc while playing, and the total time remaining in the program while playing.

It is equipped with a program selection function of up to 20 songs.

Equipped with an auto space function that adjusts the silence between songs to approximately 4 seconds.

You can repeat all songs, program songs, one song, or between A and B.

It is equipped with index search, auto search and manual search.

Timer connection is possible.

Wireless remote control is included.
