Commentary
CD player with W Super Linear Converter.
The D/A converter uses a super-linear converter and a double sample-and-hold type W super-linear converter.
In the Super Linear Converter, a correction signal is added to the D/A converter using a correction circuit to reduce D/A conversion errors and eliminate 0 cross distortion. The D/A converter uses a special US Bar Brown ICs with correction circuits unique to Denon.
In the double-sample-and-hold method, the left signal is aligned with the right signal, eliminating the time difference between the left and right channels, and realizing playback without phase difference.
The digital filter employs a 2 x over-sampling FIR type digital filter. By sampling at 88.2 kHz, which is twice the frequency of 44.1 kHz, unwanted harmonics are shifted to higher frequencies outside the audible band, allowing a margin between the signal and the audio signal.
A fifth order analog filter using an LC-OFC coil is used for the analog filter after D/A conversion.
Equipped with a de-emphasis circuit, it is also compatible with pre-emphasis CD software.
The power supply section consists of four independent power supplies, and current is supplied for each section to eliminate mutual interference.
The pickup section is equipped with a 3-beam optical head, and the entire pickup section is fully floating using an engineering plastic BMC mechanical base.
In addition, the top cover, which is susceptible to external vibration, is fixed at four points from the top to reduce vibration.
It is equipped with a program selection function of up to 20 songs.
It is equipped with 10-key direct selection.
It is equipped with an index search, and if you press the Index key and enter 3-2, you will start playing from the index number 2 of the third track.
You can repeat all songs, programs, or between A and B.
It is equipped with a quick music selection function, so you can quickly move to the beginning of a song or to the previous or next song.
Equipped with a skip monitor, you can skip ahead and forward and listen quickly.
It has the same display as the DCD 1500, and you can read track, index and elapsed time of music.
