Commentary
CD player with digital circuit and noise shaping technology.
The D/A converter is equipped with a 20-bit W super linear converter using the double D/A converter method. By adding a unique conversion error correction circuit to the D/A converter, 0 cross distortion is eliminated. Also, by using the double D/A method, the time difference between left and right stereo signals is eliminated.
The digital filter is equipped with a 20-bit 8 x oversampling digital filter. By increasing the sampling frequency by 8 x, the interval between the music signal and the noise component is widened greatly, making it easier to remove the noise with the analog filter.
The DCD 1130 employs a noise-shaping technique that reduces audible requantization noise by feeding back only the round-off error component of the output of a 20-bit 8 x oversampling digital filter and subtracting it from the incoming data.
By adopting a new double-floating mechanism for the pickup part and a double-structured cabinet with low center of gravity and high rigidity with a metal chassis and thick steel plate bottom cover, adverse effects due to vibration are reduced.
Aluminum is used for the front panel.
