Commentary
Direct-drive type turntable inheriting the sound of DP-80.
A double-structured turntable is used for the turntable.
Structurally, it consists of a high-cut filter that connects the upper and lower turntables with springs and dampers, and the lower part is fixed to the motor shaft, which shuts out extraneous vibrations such as acoustic feedback from speakers and prevents the cartridge from picking up vibrations other than music signals.
The DP-75 uses a zinc die-cast turntable for the upper part and an aluminum die-cast turntable for the lower part.
An outrotor 3-phase AC servo motor is used as the drive motor.
The servo mechanism uses DENON speed servomechanism with magnetic recording detection method. DENON quartz combined with quartz lock achieves excellent rotational accuracy.
DENON's magnetic recording detection method detects a pulse signal at 1000 revolutions per revolution from the outer circumference of the turntable (inside the rim) where the speed change is most noticeable.
As a result, the accuracy is several to ten times higher than that of the FG method, which is detected from the frequency generator directly connected to the motor, and excellent response is realized.
It employs a two way speed servo mechanism using a 2-in-1 magnetic head for detection.
This not only controls the rotational speed delay, but also enables quick response when the rotational speed is too high. In addition, when 45 rpm -33 1/3 rpm is changed, the rotational speed is immediately stabilized at the specified speed.
In addition, smooth electronic braking during stops is also realized.
Suitable for various separately sold cabinets such as DK 300.
