The Integrated Amplifier which improvement was performed and was born as the 4th generation of the PMA-2000 series.

UHC(Ultra High Current)-MOS is adopted as an output element. This element has 3 to 10 times [ usual ] as many current supply capacity with the magnification element of the minimum unit, and coexistence of power of expression and high power is aimed at with constituting from a single push pull circuit.

The High Current Dynamic power supply circuit which adopted the newly developed block capacitor for audios is adopted as a power-source part. Current supply stabilized over all the zones is enabled for rectification with the large current type Schottky barrier diode or the newly developed block type electrolytic condenser.

A power transformer improves electricity and a magnetic property sharply by carrying out parallel connection of the two transformers, and is reducing the leakage flux which is adopting the L.C. (Leakage Canceling) mount system which cancels the influence of mutual magnetism, and is a noise source in amplifier.
Moreover, the means of attachment of the transformer also heightened the floating effect combining special resin, a rubber cushion, etc., and have eliminated the influence on sound quality.

In order to aim at correspondence to a next-generation audio, each of a volume circuit, a tone circuit, and a power amplifier circuit is improved, and the maximum of the play frequency at the time of real use is 100kHz.

The pre-out terminal and the power direct input terminal are carried.
The power direct input terminal can choose power direct with the selector of the front panel, if the switch of the back panel is changed. By other positions, it operates as an Integrated Amplifier.
The input change to power amplifier is using the relay selected carefully, and is attaining high-quality sound-ization, such as also outputting a pre-out terminal from the discrete composition flat amplifier of a MOS-FET output used by PRA-S1.

In order to reduce the noise which flows into the grand circuit used as the standard of signal magnification and to attain stabilization of grand electric potential, the Precision Signal Ground circuit is carried.

the large-sized speaker terminal which carried out brass shaving appearance and plated with gold at the part is adopted. The bore diameter of a clamp part also supports the very-thick speaker cord by being referred to as phi6mm.
Moreover, two speaker outputs are prepared and bi-wiring connection is possible.
