Commentary
An AV amplifier for Dolby Pro Logic.
The Dolby Pro-Logic Surround System incorporates a directional enhancement circuit that dramatically improves the front-rear and left-right channel separation compared to conventional Dolby Surround playback.
The AVC 700 is equipped with a 4-channel power amplifier that allows you to enjoy Dolby Pro Logic Surround in phantom mode. You can also enjoy both normal mode and wide mode by connecting the center pre-out jack to another amplifier.
The delay circuit uses a digital delay method, which greatly improves the SN ratio and distortion compared with analog methods.
The delay time can be selected from 15, 20, and 30 msec.
Equipped with a test tone generation circuit, fine level setting is possible.
Surround mode is installed so that even normal stereo recording software can enjoy surround effects.
The surround mode can be selected from Hall / Simulated Stereo. In particular, Simulated Stereo can be used to make a mono source into a pseudo stereo.
The center channel and rear channel pre-out terminals are mounted.
The center channel output is the surround center output for Dolby Pro Logic and the monaural output for other modes.
It is equipped with a superimpose function that displays the operation status of functions and functions on the TV monitor screen.
Also, with the last function memory function, when the power is turned on/off by remote control, all functions are retained in the state immediately before the power is turned off.
In addition to the AVC-700, it comes with a system remote on cd player, cassette deck and tuner system key is also included.
