DENON AVC-3000

Commentary

An AV amplifier compatible with Dolby Pro Logic that pursues solid dialogue, high quality sound, and powerful sound effects with high output at the core.

The power amplifier section uses the same basic circuit as a full-scale Hi-Fi component amplifier to achieve a large output of 520W in total.
The power supply unit uses a 2-transformer 4-power supply system that separates the audio system from the digital microcomputer system. The power supply unit, power circuit, audio system circuit, high-frequency circuit, and video / digital circuit are separated into A/V complete separation structure.

The Dolby Pro-Logic Surround System incorporates a directional enhancement circuit that dramatically improves the front-rear and left-right channel separation compared to conventional Dolby Surround playback.
The Dolby Pro Logic mode can be selected from four modes : a wide mode, which is suitable when the left and right speakers and the center speaker are equivalent ; a normal mode, which outputs a signal of 100 Hz or less from the left and right speakers when the center speaker is smaller than the left and right speakers ; a phantom mode, which uses a directional enhancement circuit without using the center speaker to enjoy four channel surround sound ; and a 3 ch mode, which uses no rear speaker.
The delay time of Dolby Pro Logic is 15 to 30 msec and can be adjusted in 5 msec steps.

It is equipped with a surround mode so that ordinary stereo recording software can enjoy surround effects, and you can choose from hall / stadium / synthetic / live / space / simulated surround.
The delay time in surround mode can be adjusted from 5 msec to 40 msec.

Equipped with a test tone generation circuit, fine level setting is possible.

Equipped with input / output terminals that can connect 8 AV devices and 6 audio devices.
The terminal group is controlled and selected by microcomputer.

For both video and audio inputs, the recorded signal is output to the VCR1, 2 and 3 jacks, and the recorded signal is output to the DAT/Tape1 and 2 jacks. With the 2-mode Rec out Selector, you can freely combine and edit two different audio and video sources. With the VCR3 jack, you can dub two different sources simultaneously.

It is equipped with a video enhancer function that allows you to adjust the image quality while comparing the original video with the copied video during Video Copy.

It is equipped with a superimpose function, and the operation status of the function can be displayed on the monitor screen for approximately 5 seconds by the console or remote control operation in addition to the display of the console.

Each pre-out terminal for front, center and rear is mounted.

It is equipped with a dual center speaker connector that can be used as a center pair speaker.

This remote control is equipped with three system functions : a system remote control function, a system call function, and a system entry function. The system remote control function enables you to control DENON CD players, tuners, decks, etc. without having to learn them. The system call function enables you to memorize 15 key operations in one key operation.
The system entry function is a code entry function that allows you to register the name of an input / output device as you like within 9 characters.

In addition to the black color AVC-3000, there was the gold color AVC-3000G with side wood.
