DENON AVC-2020

Commentary

An AV amplifier with more powerful surround sound reproduction by adopting a discrete 6-ch power amplifier and newly developed Dolby Time Link Digital Delay.

The front, center and rear amplifiers are all discrete and have the same power response to bring out the expressive power of pro-logic reproduction.
In addition, the center channel amplifier for dual center is a 2-ch amplifier configuration, and is driven by one amplifier and one speaker.
In order to eliminate interference between video and audio, which is a problem in AV amplifiers, both sections are completely separated from the power supply.

In order to improve the surround playback sound, it is equipped with newly developed Dolby Time Link Digital Delay with a wide dynamic range and excellent dynamic characteristics, and the quality of the surround speaker playback sound is improved by approximately 12 db.
The delay time can be adjusted every 0.5 msec to a maximum of 130 msec (15 ~ 30 msec for pro-logic playback).

The pro-logic decoder uses an IC manufactured by PMI Inc. of the United States. The decoder has excellent dynamic range and distortion characteristics, and has improved sound quality, enabling purer surround sound reproduction.
In addition, in order to keep the separation of each Pro-Logic channel in the best condition, it is equipped with auto input balance. Switching from manual method is also possible.

Equipped with VDP direct function by mechanical relay for both video and audio parts.
The audio portion is transmitted independently of the processor and switching function, enabling purer VDP playback. The video portion is also transmitted directly from the input to the monitor output, realizing a wide bandwidth of 0 Hz to 20 MHz + 0 -1dB.

It is equipped with a AVSE circuit that enhances the bass sound and realizes more powerful surround sound reproduction.
In addition, it is equipped with a cinema sound equalizer, so that the dialogue of the person can be reproduced more realistically.

It is equipped with 4 modes of Dolby Pro Logic Surround System and 5 modes of surround mode such as Hall, simulated and live.

S³Equipped with learning remote controller with function.
This remote control is equipped with three system functions : a system remote control function, a system call function, and a system entry function. The system remote control function enables you to control DENON CD players, tuners, decks, etc. without having to learn them. The system call function enables you to memorize 15 key operations in one key operation.
With the system entry function, it is possible to display the product name of the I/O device.

In addition to the black color AVC-2020, there was the gold color AVC-2020G with side wood.
