Commentary
FM/AM tuner developed with an emphasis on reproducing the depth, tempo, and dignity of music.
The circuit is based on digital synthsized tuning with microprocessor control.
You can preset FM19 stations and AM9 stations using C-MOS memory backup. In addition, you can perform up and down scanning at variable speed, automatic search, and manual tuning.
It is equipped with automatic FM muting to eliminate detuning noise between stations.
A quartz lock tuning system is used to ensure accurate tuning and to suppress frequency fluctuations.
Fluorescent tube display is used for the display part, and the frequency is digitally displayed.
You can also see a just-tuned display, a stereo reception, and the channel number preset at the selected stage.
A front-end FET is employed to ensure good reception even in problematic signal situations.
The FM mixer / oscillator is also protected to maintain a high resistance to interference.
A ceramic filter is used to improve the selectivity of both AM and FM bands.
Equipped with a sliding stereo decoder.
Noise suppression is achieved by maintaining complete stereo channel separation for strong signals and by gradually shifting to monaural for weak signals.
