Mission is a British manufacturer founded by farad Azima in 1977.
At the time of its establishment, all products were sold under the Mission brand. However, since the mid-1980s, amplifiers and other products have been sold under the Cyrus brand and speakers and analog players under the Mission brand. Currently, Cyrus and Mission remain as separate manufacturers, and Mission has been under the umbrella of the IAG Group since 2004 as well as Luxman and others. Neither brand is currently sold in Japan (as of 2013).

The mission started negotiations for patent acquisition in 1978 when polypropylene was under development as a corn material in the BBC research, and it seems to have initially retained the UK patent for polypropylene corn.
