Although the 774 sm is structurally different from the 774, it is designed with a common philosophy and is designed for use in compliance.
It uses a unique fixed bearing to eliminate resonance in the head shell, minimize effective mass, and minimize pivot resistance.
It has a silicon dump structure with an external oil bath.
