Commentary
A hard dome type tweeter that can be easily upgraded.
The diaphragm is made of layer laminated film made by a special manufacturing method that combines optimum internal loss and rigidity of pulp. The edge of the diaphragm uses tangential edges to improve linearity and reduce distortion.
The voice coil adopts CCAW, and by keeping the mass balance with the diaphragm optimum, the high range limit is expanded, and in addition, transient characteristics and resolution are improved.
Ferrite magnet is used for the magnetic circuit.
A special equalizer is mounted on the front of the diaphragm to correct the phase shift and improve directional characteristics.
It comes with a stand and dividing network specifically designed for the HD-55 and can be used to upgrade your system.
