Commentary

A stereo power amplifier developed for studio monitors.

In the power supply section, the power supply for the power section and the power supply for the pre-section are independent.
Two large-capacity electrolytic capacitors of 47,000 μ F are used in the power section. The pre-section avoids the influence of power fluctuations due to the use of discrete regulators, and the input head room has a margin of 60 VDC.
A toroidal transformer is used for the power transformer.
The regulator is designed for use as a push-pull type and can be upgraded as an option.

A monolithic dual FET is used at the input of the amplifier circuit for constant current drive, two stage differential amplification by cascode connection, and a push-pull configuration against earth by feedback current mirror circuit.
Metal can transistors are used for both the drive stage and power stage of the power section to achieve sound quality that cannot be obtained with mold type transistors.

The protection circuit is equipped with an independent high-speed protection circuit on the left and right.
It is also equipped with shock noise at power-on and inrush current protection circuit for toroidal transformer.

We have adopted the edge-board connector method for the circuit board in consideration of maintenance for long-term stable use.
In addition, by adopting the edge-board connector method, it can be adapted to the version upgrade.

Large terminals made by Phoenix Contact (Germany) are used for the speaker terminals, and 6x6mm thick cables can be connected.
It can also be changed to an optional connector that can be used with a 10x10mm cable.

Fan is eliminated by adopting external large heat sink for cooling mechanism.

The input attenuator uses a detente volume developed by Alpine for digital audio.

A carefully selected polycarbonate capacitor is used for the input coupling capacitor.
This capacitor can be removed by option.
