Commentary

A bookshelf type speaker system with a bass reflex port at the bottom.

A 13 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit uses a paper cone that has been doped as a diaphragm.

A 2.7 cm dome-shaped tweeter is installed in the high range.
A textile dome diaphragm is used for the diaphragm.

The crossover frequency is set to 1.950 Hz, which is lower than the average 2-way speaker. This minimizes the distortion caused by the high frequency coverage of the woofer and enables wide-clear mid-range playback.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
In Reference100, a woofer is laid out in the upper part. The top plate near the woofer vibrates to prevent the decrease of the low range. The bass reflex port is laid out in the bottom part away from the woofer to enable low range playback with sound field feeling.
The exterior is rough with a 6-sided veneer finish made of natural wood mahogany.

There was a speaker stand as an option sold separately.
The pole of this stand also has a mahogany veneer finish.
