Commentary
A monaural power amplifier with sufficient drive capability and large dynamic range even for low efficiency speakers.
The monaural configuration with independent left and right housings completely eliminates interference between channels.
The bTL connection amplifies the + and - waveforms of the signal with a dedicated circuit.
The power supply section uses a dual choke input method to provide stable power supply from large current to small current.
It is also equipped with a large capacity transformer and condenser.
If you use a load-sensitive tube type preamp, you may not be able to fully display the characteristics of the preamp depending on the input impedance of the power amplifier. The Encore 150 Mono uses an ultra-high input impedance design with a virtually infinite input impedance of 1M Ω to avoid severe loads when combined with a load-sensitive preamp.
In addition, the output impedance is kept low, and it is designed not to worry about residual noise even for high-efficiency speakers.
It has a switch to switch the ground side of the input terminal between contact and float so that it can be used in the best condition even when various preamplifiers with different ground points are combined.
The input terminal uses a more reliable Fisher terminal instead of a general XLR terminal.
The speaker terminals are Route 3 parallel terminals capable of tri-wiring drive.
