Commentary

This is the highest class speaker system of the Ditton series.

It is equipped with UL12 which is 30 cm cone type woofer in the low range.
This unit uses fiber cone with viscoelastic synthetic resin coating to ensure high rigidity, and neoprene roll edge is used for the edge.

's unique 30 cm passive radiators called ABR are combined in the low band. Celestion
The diaphragm of this unit has a special double structure made of lightweight and highly rigid synthetic resin and is held by a neoprene double roll suspension.
The operating mass is precisely designed and tuned with the woofer. In addition, the low-frequency output of opposite phases below the fo of the woofer and a sharp drop in low-frequency output, the ABR always vibrates in phase with the woofer and enables playback in the low-frequency range below fo.

In the middle area, it is equipped with MD500 which is a 5 cm soft dome type squaker.

The HF2000, a 2.5 cm dome tweeter, is installed in the high range.
This unit was also used as a BBC monitor speaker.

Air-core coils are used in the network section to prevent loss and distortion in the circuit.

There were two variations of the enclosure finish : walnut and cheek.
