Commentary
A top-loading CD player with an original belt drive mechanism.
A belt drive mechanism unique to CEC is adopted for the mechanism part.
By using a belt drive in this system, vibration and electromagnetic noise generated by the motor are shielded, enabling more faithful signal reading.
In addition, the top-loading system enables the use of a stabilizer that reduces the vibration of the CD disk rotation.
The clock section is equipped with a newly developed low-jitter crystal oscillator circuit.
The D/A converter consists of two independent left and right PCM1792 (192kHz/24bit) D/A converters manufactured by Bar Brown Co., Ltd.
In addition, the ⊿ Σ oversampling rate and digital filter can be switched according to preference.
The analog circuit has its own current injection circuit.
In this circuit, the output current of the DAC is converted into voltage without using a feedback circuit. This circuit avoids negative feedback, which deteriorates sound quality, and improves sound quality both in terms of data and audibility. In addition, sound quality is improved by integration with an LEF circuit.
The analog circuit is balanced / shortest design.
The power supply section employs a high-performance switching power supply equipped with a clean power supply unit to avoid many of the problems that occur with AC power supplies.
In addition, the power supply to the transport section and DAC section is separated, and the voltage supply to the motor, servo, display, digital circuit, and analog circuit is also separated, so that mutual interference is suppressed.
Aluminum extrusion molded material is used for the case.
The analog outputs are equipped with two systems, balanced and unbalanced, and the digital outputs are equipped with a Route 3 of optical, coaxial and XLR.
Wireless remote control is included.
